On average, Paul Kalemkiarian, Owner/Cellarmaster at Extreme Wine Deals, evaluates over 300 bottles of wine each month. These wines are sourced from all over America – and all over the world. Nothing goes untasted here. Everything is considered because you never know where the next great wine value will come from.
Each wine is carefully evaluated to determine that it is regionally indicative, varietally correct and well crafted. Quality is the primary benchmark, as well as value. Each wine is entered into a database with its pertinent information and ranked based on a two-part scoring system. We use the traditional 100-point scale to compare and contrast the wines in their respective price category. We also use a 3-point scale to tell us if we cannot use the wine at all, if we think we can use it right away, or if we think we could use the wine under certain price conditions.
Each week we review the database to find interesting wines to feature. Then the fun begins: We search the web and various wine pricing programs to determine the manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) and the real retail price (the average Internet price). Once that is determined, we then seek to procure the wine on your behalf at a price well below the average Internet price. From there, a contract is written and the offer is made to the Extreme Wine Deals membership.
All our wines are fully guaranteed. You never pay for a wine you do not like. If there is ever an issue with one of our wines, we will replace the wine or refund your money.
